Experience

I just joined ABSC in November 2022 and have loved my first couple weeks. It is filled with great people solving tough problems with great tech.

From 2016 to 2022 I worked as a software developer for Maxar. Most of my work was back end engineering of geospatial applications. I was involved in the development of several applications from the ground up. Good application design is one of the things that I take the most pride in. I enjoy creating applications that have simple interfaces even when the data or processing is complex.

Prior to being a software developer I spent 6 years doing geospatial analysis. That is where I first learned python as it was crucial to processing large datasets. For a couple years I had the opportunity to teach geospatial analysis and python in an official capacity, and since then I have continued to teach and mentor everyone around me.
